The panel discussion will feature the editors and contributors:
James F. Cooper, director of the Newington Cropsey Cultural Studies Center
Nathan Glazer, professor emeritus of sociology and education at Harvard University
Cynthia R. Field, architectural historian emerita at the Smithsonian Institution
Judy Scott Feldman, president of the National Coalition to Save Our Mall
Marcel Acosta, executive director of the National Capital Planning Commission
Moderator: Don Kennon, vice president for scholarship and education, US Capitol Historical Society
Following the panel discussion and questions from the audience, the authors will be available to sign copies of the book. A reception with light refreshments will conclude the afternoon’s program.

The public entrance for the Russell Senate Office Building is on the corner of Constitution Avenue and Delaware Avenue. Take the elevators to the Caucus Room (SR-325) on the third floor.
Book Purchase Information
Books can be ordered from the Society at a 20% discount from the cover prices. The books may be picked up at the event and the authors will be available to sign them. Books will also be available at the event to be ordered by credit card only. These autographed books can either be shipped to you or picked up later at the Society’s offices. We cannot directly sell books in the Senate Office Building.
