On Tuesday, February
26th, Washington Post columnist Marc Fisher addressed the future of the National Mall on his show Raw Fisher Radio. Guests
included Steve Lorenzetti, Deputy Superintendent of the National Park Service's
National Mall and Memorial Parks, and Coalition Chair Judy Scott Feldman.
The discussion
compared and contrasted the National Park Service's ongoing planning for Mall
management with the National Coalition to Save Our Mall's proposal for Mall
expansion and the need for a Congressional commission to create a
forward-looking vision for the 3rd Century Mall.
