Dear Coalition Friends:
It seems to be the season for planning meetings. The National Capital Planning Commission (NCPC) is continuing to develop ideas for enhancing areas around the Mall. Its next public meeting is January 9th:
NATIONAL CAPITAL Framework Plan- PUBLIC Meeting
Where might future cultural attractions and commemorative destinations be located in the nation's capital? Please join the National Capital Planning Commission and the Commission of Fine Arts to discuss potential locations for new destinations and connections in Washington, DC.
NCPC and CFA will provide and update on the National Capital Framework Plan a multi-agency initiative designed to help implement the Legacy Plan, to help preserve the grace and beauty of the National Mall, and contribute to the development of a great capital city. Discussion will focus on creating attractive locations for future cultural facilities and memorials and enhancing the visitor's experience and quality of life for all.
Public Input is Welcomed.
