Dear Coalition Friends:

I am excited to report that the National Coalition to Save Our Mall has received a generous commitment from the Summit Fund of Washington of an unrestricted grant of $35,000 for each of the next three years if we can match it 2:1. This will allow Save Our Mall to meet the goal set by our Third Century Mall Advisors last April to strengthen our governance, communications, outreach, and financial stability so that we can move to the next level of effectiveness as momentum grows to introduce and pass legislation to begin planning for the the 3rd Century Mall.

Now we need your financial support to meet this challenge. Save Our Mall's Board members and Coalition friends have contributed almost half of the funds needed to meet the match for this year. But we need your help to the raise the remaining $40,000, by December 31st.

If you appreciate our work and wonder what you can do to help, now is the time to act. Take a look at our two websites to learn more about what we are doing to protect the Mall's integrity -- http://www.savethemall.org -- and to propose further ideas, with our Third Century Initiative, for an exciting future for the National Mall http://www.nationalmall.net.

Please take a moment now to make a tax-deductible contribution. Just click this link to pay via PayPal:
