9/11 Memorial

Less than a year after the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon, Congress is considering legislation to build a memorial to the victims of terrorism on the National Mall.

The legislation ignores safeguards enacted by Congress itself that require the passage of 25 years before any event or person can be memorialized on the Mall.
