Public Testimonials
Sept. 1, 2002
I am a junior in high school this year, and have been visiting your site for new information on the mall very often. I can't believe that they went through with the WWII monument. It's sad that more people didn't come out to oppose it. My fondest memories of my life come from my eighth-grade trip to Washington D.C. when I walked down the mall one evening with a friend, and sat by the reflecting pond for hours taking in the beauty.
It is truly heartbreaking that they are "industrializing" the mall and putting in this "modern" WWII monument. Is there anything that can be done??? I would give all the money I have to save the mall, and I will. I thank God that there are other people out there who care about the mall as much as I do. Good luck and you have my full support.
