The U.S. Capitol
The U.S. Capitol buildings and grounds are under the control of the Architect of the Capitol. Currently under construction is the Capitol Visitor Center, a controversial project that is supposed to improve security and enhance visitors' experience of the Capitol.
Some aren't so sure. The General Accounting Office has raised serious questions about the schedule and estimated costs.
